Your entrance should look like it belongs to you. Athena Security lets you design the physical appearance of your weapons detection system before it ships. Choose perforated or solid panels, select the panel color, upload your logo, and pick the logo color, so the system matches your building, your brand, and the experience you want people to have when they walk through the door.
Schools, hospitals, government buildings, places of worship, stadiums, and corporate offices use custom panels to make security feel like a designed part of the space rather than an afterthought. Detection performance is identical on every configuration; only the look changes.
Panel style
Not sure which to choose? If your entrance has doors that stay open, faces outdoors, or sits in a drafty corridor, go perforated. If it’s fully indoors and protected, either style works.
Panel color
Choose from Athena’s standard finishes [list: e.g., black, white, silver, navy] or specify a custom color to match your school colors, hospital brand palette, or building interior. [Custom colors are matched to Pantone or RAL codes you provide.]
Logo
Upload your logo and it is [printed / applied] directly to the panel face. Position options include [top of panel, center, or both sides].
Logo color
Select the logo color independently of the panel color, so a white logo on navy, a school color on white, or a tone-on-tone mark all work. [Single-color and full-color logos are supported.]
Colors look different on a screen than they do in your lobby. Once you’ve finished your design in the configurator, export it and Athena will 3D print a scale model of your system with your panel style, colors, and logo. Use it to check your brand colors under real lighting, show the design to your board, facilities team, or school leadership, and get sign-off before the full-size system goes into production.

Every custom order receives a digital proof for approval. Nothing goes into production until you sign off.
Does the panel style affect detection?
No. Perforated and solid panels house the same sensors and run the same detection software. Choose the look you prefer.
Why choose perforated panels at a windy entrance?
Solid panels catch wind like a sail. At open-air or drafty entrances, that can cause the system to shift or vibrate, which leads to nuisance alerts and extra wear. Perforated panels let air pass through, keeping the system stable and reducing those issues.
Can I see my design before it’s built?
Yes. Export your design from the configurator and request a 3D-printed scale model. You’ll receive a physical version of your system in your chosen panel style, colors, and logo so you can check the look in your actual space before committing.
Can I share my design with others before ordering?
Yes. The Export Design button saves a PDF rendering you can email to your team, board, or procurement office, and the 3D model gives them something physical to review.
Can I change the panels later?
Yes. Panels are replaceable, so you can update colors or logos after a rebrand, a merger, or a change in building design. Contact your Athena representative for replacement panel pricing and lead times.
How long does a custom configuration take?
Standard finishes ship in 6 weeks. Custom colors and logo applications add approximately 4 weeks for proofing and production.
Is there an extra cost for customization?
Standard panel colors are included. Custom color matching and logo application are available for an additional fee. Request a quote through the Athena Rep.
What logo file formats do you accept?
Vector formats (SVG, AI, EPS, PDF) are preferred. High-resolution PNG is accepted.
