recognized security officers, executives, and others can be added to an automatic whitelist through facial recognition, preventing unnecessary alerts, and allowing authorized personnel to walk through the detection system without wasting time.

Real-Time Detection and Alerts

Athena WDS is designed to keep visitors moving, and can scan visitors walking through at normal speed. Any detected objects will instantly trigger an alert to the operator tablet.

Low Power Alerts

if the system runs low on batteries, becomes unplugged, or loses connectivity, an alert will be sent.

Person of Interest Alerts

landmark recognition allows the system to instantly recognize a Person of Interest or BOLO, sending an alert to the operator tablet without revealing details to the visitor.

Evasion Detection

Athena’s patented AI uses video and LIDAR to detect visitors who attempt to go around the system instead of through it, triggering an alert. Athena serves as a second pair of eyes, preventing a moment of misplaced attention from allowing a visitor to bypass the detection system.

Voluntary Divestment Tracking

visitors can proactively surrender prohibited items to security, which are logged with visitor information and a photo of the item, ensuring that such incidents are properly tracked and the items can be returned to their owners upon exit.

Pole-Width Alerts

if the poles are too far apart or too close together to function properly, an alert will be triggered so the poles can be adjusted to an optimal distance.
